WAVE HEADING

Stunning, contemporary pared down elegance, the fabric is made into undulating 'waves' that are spaced evenly across their widths and automatically form the 'wave' pattern when you operate them!

Clever isn't it?

Wave curtains are a specialist curtain that has to be made to very exacting measurements and standards, but don't worry, that is our job!

Wave curtains work in tandem with specialist pole and tracking systems and a special tape on the back of the curtains. They also have to be hung in a very specific manner which, again, we will do for you.

Wave curtains are particularly suitable for bay windows.

Because the specialist pole and tacking system can be custom bent to fit bays, the wave system is the perfect choice and pulls back neatly either side of the window.

The cost of making wave curtains is no different to the costs of a standard pencil pleat heading, and fabric quantities are economical as well, but the look and the practicality of what you achieve far surpasses most other types of curtain.

Fabric choice also plays an important part in how the finished curtain will look.

Fabrics with a high cotton content will always hang better than those with a lot of polyester.

We have a vast choice in store and we will guide you through every stage of the process so that you feel confident and comfortable with the made to measure process.

NB It is impossible to predict how a fabric will hang but we will always do our very best to advise you and if we feel that the fabric choice is wrong for the application, we will always say!

ADVANTAGES:

Neat, uniform look that is suited to a contemporary or traditional home.

Easy to operate and hang beautifully.

Requires less fabric than most other type of curtains.

Costs less to make than most other styles.

Fantastic around bay windows because there is less bulk in the curtains.

Automatically forms the pleats for you every time you open or close the curtains.

Can be used on corded pole/track options as well as hand operated versions.

DISADVANTAGES:

Can only be used on very specific, specialist tracks and poles.

Not all fabrics behave themselves in a way that we would like so, as a last resort, tiebacks may need to be used.
